Productions GFN
GFN Productions is a Quebec producer and promoter of concerts, albums, and digital media. The company invests primarily in Quebec and Canadian talent, but has presented artists from around the world. Since 2018, GFN Productions has partnered with the Orchestre FILMharmonique to present popular films and franchises in concert. Together, they created a series that became a fixture of programming at Montreal’s Place des Arts.
Festival International de la Littérature (FIL)
The Festival international de la littérature is the only annual French-language literary festival in Montréal. Its international, multidisciplinary scope and its daring, original programming make it a reference point in Québec in the realm of literary show creation.

Festival International de la Littérature (FIL)

Foyers de la Maison symphonique
Maison symphonique offers producers and companies a number of adjacent spaces, such as foyers and a VIP lounge (the Salon d'honneur), which can be rented alone or along with the performance hall. These spaces are perfect for ceremonial gatherings, banquets, lectures, launches and cocktail parties.
The Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal
The first institution in Canada to be exclusively devoted to contemporary art, the Musée presents temporary exhibitions of works by Québecois, Canadian and international artists. It also holds a rich permanent collection bringing together nearly 7,600 works, among them the world’s biggest collection of works by Paul-Émile Borduas.
Printemps nordique
From April 4 to 29, 2018, Place des Arts invites you to immerse yourself in an unforgettable Printemps nordique, a major artistic and cultural event designed to help you discover the great creative vitality of the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) and to highlight their values of cooperation, humanism and environmental awareness.

Juste pour rire MONTRÉAL
Each July, Just For Laughs MONTRÉAL brings laughter to the city’s Quartier des Spectacles with more than 400 comedians appearing at over 200 shows in venues across the city – from comedy clubs and theatres to sell-out arenas. There are even free street performances. Don’t miss out on your chance to experience the world’s largest comedy festival right here in Montréal this summer!

Havre-aux-glaces
With four locations in Montréal, including one at Place des Arts, Havre-aux-glaces is a well-known destination for lovers of artisanal ice cream and sorbet.

JOAT Festival international de street dance
From August 27 to September 2, 2024 come celebrate street dance in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles! From the streets to the stage, artists of many different backgrounds dance, compete, and share their passion with all the generosity and intensity that drive them. Electrifying and festive. Spearheaded by Handy “HYA” Yacinthe, a major influencer in the Canadian and international street dance scene and recipient of the Jury Prize of the Grand Prix du Conseil des arts de Montréal 2023, the Festival celebrates street dance culture as a cultural and social factor. Law, regulations and policies
The Place des Arts operates a performing arts enterprise and manages the establishments entrusted to it by the government. The Place des Arts is governed by a number of laws, regulations and policies that provide a framework for the management of its operations.
Duceppe
Founded in 1973, Compagnie Jean Duceppe is one of the three resident companies at Place des Arts de Montréal. Every season, it produces five plays and performs them at Théâtre Jean-Duceppe.
Festival du Nouveau Cinéma (FNC)
In October every year, the Festival du nouveau cinéma de Montréal supports and screens cinematic works that are quirky, pointed, bold and innovative for all to enjoy. It provides a platform for artists and filmmakers, and promotes and recognizes their originality and diversity.
Summer Break
Take a Summer Break on the Place des Arts Esplanade! From August 19 to 28, it will be possible to attend free music and dance performances to reintroduce you to artists and the pleasure of attending outdoor shows.

MUTEK
Founded in 2000 in Montréal, MUTEK is a festival dedicated to electronic music and digital creativity. Focused on discovery and innovation, it presents an eclectic program of over 100 local and international artists, offering audiences unique immersive experiences and live audiovisual performances.
Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier Rental
Formerly called La Grande Salle, Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier is the largest Italian-theatre-style performance venue in Québec. It hosts major shows from Place des Arts’ two resident companies, the Opéra de Montréal and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal.

Youth Programming
Youth programming at Place des Arts, presented annually for over 40 years, aims to welcome families at every budget. Circus, theatre, music, puppetry, dance and storytelling: Place des Arts also offers plenty of free activities and shows for the whole family!

Just For Laughs MONTRÉAL
Just For Laughs MONTRÉAL presents hundreds of free outdoor activities alongside 250 shows in 25 downtown venues, including several in the halls of Place des Arts. It has become the world’s biggest comedy festival, attracting nearly two million visitors. With performances in both English and French (under Juste pour rire), it brings together some 1,700 artists from 19 countries. The festival’s goal? To make people happy!

Evenko, a Québec company, is the biggest independent producer and promoter in Canada. Every year, it produces more than 1,200 shows, musical concerts, and family and sporting events in Québec, as well as in the Atlantic provinces and the north-eastern United States.
Place Deschamps- Bar à Vin

Café Van Houtte
