Careers at Place des Arts
Place des Arts is the largest cultural complex in Canada and one of the largest in the world. It consists of 6 performance halls with capacities ranging from 128 to 3,000 seats, in addition to the Fernand-Lindsay Amphitheatre in Joliette, which Place des Arts has managed since 1995.
The halls are home to several major Quebec companies in the fields of dance, theatre, and music, while also playing host to independent productions of all kinds. Each year, close to 1,000 shows are presented here to an audience of some 1 million people.
Place des Arts also has a program of cultural and educational activities called L’Art en soi. This program targets participants of all ages and all backgrounds, including families and children, high school students, people with specific needs, and members of various communities.
