The Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay is an outdoor concert venue with remarkable natural acoustics. Located in Joliette, approximately one hour northeast of Montréal, it is the primary venue for the largest classical music festival in Canada, the Festival de Lanaudière. Its program also includes high-profile music shows each year that delight pop music aficionados.
With 2,000 seats under the pavilion roof and room for 5,000 more attendees on the lawn, it hosts numerous musical events all summer long. It’s the perfect venue for an open-air concert under the stars.

How can I get tickets for people with reduced mobility?

Are paper show or parking tickets accepted?
Tickets printed by the Place des Arts box office will be accepted. However, you cannot print your own tickets at home.

How long before my show should I plan to arrive?
The doors to the site open 2 hours before the start of the show.
You must arrive at the amphitheatre entrance 45 minutes before your show starts. That will ensure that everyone can be seated safely before the performance begins.
Note that traffic around the amphitheatre is sometimes more dense than usual. Please plan your trips accordingly.
Will I be searched or frisked at the entrance to the site?
You may be checked depending on the show.
Do the concerts take place in the event of rain?
The concerts are never canceled in case of rain. The Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay has several seats under the roof, sheltered from the elements. If you have “lawn” tickets, it is possible to upgrade them for tickets under the roof (at an additional cost, and depending on seat availability. A service charge can be applied). In the event of a severe storm, our staff will take the necessary steps to ensure your safety.
Sun risk: For afternoon concerts, there is a risk of sunshine in the Pair section, under the roof, because some seats are not protected from the sun.

No, the bars only accept payments by debit or credit card.
Are food and bar service available?
Food and beverage options depend on the show.
If accepted, please note that you can drink beverages under the Amphitheatre roof, but food is not permitted.
Can I bring my own food to the site?
It depends on the show.
If accepted, please note that food may only be consumed on the lawn.Can I bring my alcoholic beverages to the site?
No, you cannot bring in any alcohol purchased off-site.
Can I bring glass containers to the site?
No, glass containers are not permitted on the Amphitheatre site.

Is there a cloakroom where personal effects can be stored?
No, there is no cloakroom on-site.
Is smoking or vaping permitted on the amphitheatre site?
Smoking and vaping are not permitted under the amphitheatre roof, nor are they allowed on the lawn.
However, there are two designated smoking areas on the site:
Near the main entrance
Near the washroom facilities to the left of the stage (when facing it)
Can I bring my chair and parasol on the lawn?
It depends on the show.
If accepted, parasols in the “front” section of the lawn will have to be closed at the start of the show to prevent obstructing views and bothering other spectators.
Free chair loans are available only during Festival de Lanaudière concerts. Limited quantities available.Will I be allowed to get up and leave my seat during a performance?
Yes. However, if you leave your seat during the performance, as with latecomers, you will be redirected to the nearest available seat at an appropriate time.
Is there washrooms on site?

Where can I park my car?
There are large parking lots on the Amphitheatre site, open during performances.
Regular rate per car: $10 to $15, depending on the show.
Book a guaranteed spot by reserving ahead of time: Purchase a parking ticket.
Spots reserved for people with reduced mobility: please call the box office at 450 759-4343 or 1 800 759-4343 to request a reduced mobility seat when making your purchase. To park near the drop-off zone located at the back of the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay, individuals with reduced mobility who drive their own vehicle must have their concert ticket on hand, along with a parking placard for disabled persons (spaces are limited).
There is a free shuttle service available from P3 (for Festival de Lanaudière concerts only).
Is there a shuttle service between Montreal and Joliette?
It depends on the show.
Shuttles running between Montreal and Joliette (Amphitheatre) are available for concerts at the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay:
- Departure from Centre Info-Touriste, on Peel Street in front of the Windsor (Peel metro station)
- Stop on Trianon Street, south of Sherbrooke Street (Radisson metro station)
- Departure time depends on the concert start time (noon, 2 pm or 5 pm)
Cost: $25 return trip, plus tax.
