As a francophone reference, Place des Arts is pleased to welcome over a hundred performers from French-speaking countries each year. Fans of French song will find what they’re looking for in our programming, featuring several renowned artists.
And we haven’t left emerging talents on the sidelines: the Ma première Place des Arts competition, produced by the SACEF, has supported newer French-language artists for over 25 years. Hundreds of young artists have given performances for the occasion, and continue to do so, in the intimate surroundings of Salle Claude-Léveillée.
