The Place des Arts operates a performing arts enterprise and manages the establishments entrusted to it by the government. The Place des Arts is governed by a number of laws, regulations and policies that provide a framework for the management of its operations.

Productions KOScène, sister company to KOTV, specializes in show production, tour planning and artistic representation.
Le Seingalt
Located to the left of Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, Le Seingalt Restaurant offers unique bistro cuisine inspired by French gastronomy. With its carefully curated choice of fresh, light fare and its efficient and courteous service, it’s a prime destination before or after a show at Place des Arts.

Future Stars’ Grand Premiere
The 13th edition of the annual benefit event of the Fondation de la Place des Arts will be held on Tuesday, June 4, at Théâtre Maisonneuve. The evening–at which the performing arts and culinary delights are brought together to the great joy of all involved–brings together more than 500 guests from the business sector and cultural milieu each year to support access to the arts and culture.

The Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme (formerly the Hall des Pas perdus) is a public space where millions of people pass through every year. Governance
The Société de la Place des Arts de Montréal is a state-owned enterprise reporting to the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec. As such, it operates a business for the diffusion of the performing arts and administers any other establishment whose management is entrusted to it by the Government and organizes art related activities designed to develop public awareness and increase attendance. Mission
The objects of the Société de la Place des Arts de Montréal are to operate a business for the diffusion of the performing arts, to administer the Place des Arts de Montréal and the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay in Joliette, and to establish the artistic programming at the Maison symphonique for organizations other than the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal. These activities are to be conducted, more specifically, so as to provide a residence for major arts organizations and improve access to the various types of performing arts, and promote arts and culture in Québec. Place des Arts and the OSM celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Maison symphonique de Montréal
On September 11 and 12, 2021, Place des Arts and the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Maison symphonique de Montréal with a series of ten free short concerts and four discussions. Discover the exceptional acoustics of the Maison symphonique and enjoy an incomparable musical experience with various ensembles from the OSM, a string quartet and brass quintet from the Orchestre Métropolitain, the chamber orchestra Les Violons du Roy and the Orchestre Classique de Montréal.

Ticket Donation Policy
Each year, the Société de la Place des Arts de Montréal (the “Société”) contributes to our collective vitality and well-being by supporting various organizations in achieving their financial goals. The Société supports these organizations by providing them with donations in the form of tickets to performances. The choice of shows is at the Société’s discretion.

Jay Du Temple's Canadian tour will culminate in July 2024, as part of Juste pour rire MONTRÉAL, where he will present his show Fin for the very last time at Place des Arts for five consecutive dates in five different venues!

Opéra de Montréal
Founded in 1980, the Opéra de Montréal is one of Place des Arts’ three resident companies, and the biggest francophone opera house in North America. Every year, it presents four to five operas, concerts by its Atelier lyrique, and a range of democratization events. The Opéra creates its works in the Place des Arts rehearsal halls before performing them in Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier.

Residencies in a Place des Arts rehearsal room allows artists to develop new performing arts projects, under the best possible conditions.
Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay Rental
The Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay (formerly the Amphithéâtre de Lanaudière) is an outdoor show venue with exceptional acoustics in a remarkable natural setting. Located in Joliette, in the Lanaudière region, it plays host to open-air classical and pop concerts. The Société de la Place des Arts has managed the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay since 1995.
Printemps nordique
From April 4 to 29, 2018, Place des Arts invites you to immerse yourself in an unforgettable Printemps nordique, a major artistic and cultural event designed to help you discover the great creative vitality of the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) and to highlight their values of cooperation, humanism and environmental awareness.
Esplanade de la Place des Arts Rental
The Esplanade is a vast outdoor space that connects all of Place des Arts’ show venues. It’s an immense public gathering space at the heart of the Quartier des spectacles. It hosts Montréal’s biggest festivals, cultural activities and popular events year-round: the Festival international de Jazz de Montréal, Les Francofolies, Just for Laughs, Montréal en lumière, and the Grand Marché de Noël at Place des Arts.

The mission of the Festival du Monde Arabe de Montréal is to encourage connections and dialogue between Arab and Western cultures through the presentation of shows and events that are open to all. With its fresh, multidisciplinary works, the festival provides a space for artists and producers of all stripes to meet. The FMA is designed and produced by Alchimies, Créations et Cultures.
Production ONJ
L'Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal (ONJ) is an orchestral ensemble dedicated to pushing back the boundaries of today's orchestral jazz. A variable-geometry ensemble of 10 to 45 musicians, ranging from the Tentet to the Jazz Studio Orchestra, it features wind, string and percussion instruments, depending on the repertoire. Performing jazz, pop, world and film music, the ONJ has shared the stage with artists such as Diane Dufresne, Ranee Lee, Kim Richardson, Karen Young, Laura Anglade, Marie-Christine Depestre, Ingrid Jensen, Terence Blanchard, Bendik Hofseth, Aaron Parks, Mathias Rüegg, Sylvester Uzoma Onyejiaka II.
Jeux de mots
The Adaptive Arts program’s Jeux de mots project has been custom designed to meet the needs of adults with functional limitations.
SACEF
For over 25 years, SACEF has given emerging francophone singers the chance to perform at Place des Arts. These shows are given as part of two concert series: the Week-ends de la chanson Québecor and Ma première Place des Arts. All shows are presented in Salle Claude-Léveillée at Place des Arts.

The cultural mediation training camp is intended for professional arts presenters. The training was developed and is delivered jointly by the Place des Arts and Lincoln Education Center teams.
Festival International de la Littérature (FIL)
The Festival international de la littérature is the only annual French-language literary festival in Montréal. Its international, multidisciplinary scope and its daring, original programming make it a reference point in Québec in the realm of literary show creation.
