L'Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal (ONJ) is an orchestral ensemble dedicated to pushing back the boundaries of today's orchestral jazz. A variable-geometry ensemble of 10 to 45 musicians, ranging from the Tentet to the Jazz Studio Orchestra, it features wind, string and percussion instruments, depending on the repertoire. Performing jazz, pop, world and film music, the ONJ has shared the stage with artists such as Diane Dufresne, Ranee Lee, Kim Richardson, Karen Young, Laura Anglade, Marie-Christine Depestre, Ingrid Jensen, Terence Blanchard, Bendik Hofseth, Aaron Parks, Mathias Rüegg, Sylvester Uzoma Onyejiaka II.
