Jeux de mots

The Adaptive Arts program’s Jeux de mots project has been custom designed to meet the needs of adults with functional limitations.

Workshops

Joined by professional artists, participants explore poetry and spoken word performance. A wide range of stimulating sources of inspiration are provided throughout the activity: micro-narratives, movement-based play, voice and posture exercises, movement in space, and drawing are used to guide participants as they explore the creative process.

Registration

• The organization must form a group of 5 to 25 participants. The maximum number of participants will be discussed upon reservation.
• Once the group has been formed, the organization can register and reserve its timeslot. Participants cannot register individually.
• The attendance of at least one social worker or accompanying person per group is required. The ratio will be discussed upon reservation and may be revised after the first workshop.
