2023 Edition

On June 6, the 12th edition of the Future Stars’ Grand Premiere took place under the artistic direction of the virtuoso cellist Stéphane Tétreault.

  • A net result of $640,000
  • An organizing committee co-chaired by Sylvie Chagnon (Lallemand), Sandra Chartrand (Sandra and Alain Bouchard Foundation) and Jacques Marchand (LCI Education)
  • 500 corporate guests, patrons, and philanthropists
  • 500 community spectators, thanks to the collaboration of francization and welcome centres for newcomers, as well as high schools from less privileged backgrounds
  • A unique show bringing together circus arts, classical music, jazz, singing, and multidisciplinary arts
  • An expense ratio under 10%

2022 Edition

Last June 7 marked the dazzling return of the Future Stars’ Grand Premiere to the stage of Théâtre Maisonneuve!

The eleventh edition of the event enabled the Fondation de la Place des Arts to raise a record sum of $705,000 net to make arts more accessible, thanks to the work of the organizing committee co-chaired by Sylvie Chagnon (Lallemand), Sandra Chartrand (Fondation Sandra et Alain Bouchard) and Jacques Marchand (LCI Education).

Under the artistic direction of Valérie Milot and the participation of guest conductor Hubert Tanguay-Labrosse and the Orchestre de l’Agora, the guest artists offered the hundreds of spectactors present exceptional performances.

2021 Edition

On June 1, 2021, the 10th edition of the Future Stars’ Grand Premiere raised a net amount of $544,000, an exceptional sum for an event held online due to the pandemic.

Under the artistic direction of the Quebec harpist Valérie Milot, the event introduced spectators to extremely talented young artists from disciplines as diverse as slam, circus, dance and music.

2020 Edition 

The Fondation raised over $275,000 this year, an exceptional result in the current context which was achieved thanks to the support of its most loyal partners and donors. Despite the cancellation of the Future Stars’ Grand Premiere 2020, many of them showed their trust in the Fondation by contributing to its mission of accessibility.

2019 Edition

The ninth edition of the event which took place on June 2, 2029, enabled us to raised a net amount of $575,000 thanks to the generosity of our partners and donors of the Future Stars Grand Premiere and to the important gift of our Ambassador Partner.

More than 1,000 people—including 500 teenagers and newcomers, invited free of charge as part of the Community component of the event—were seduced by the outstanding performances of young and talented artists under the artistic direction of Alexandre Da Costa, staged by Joël Legendre.

2018 Edition

The eighth edition of the Future Stars’ Grand Premiere took place on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in Théâtre Maisonneuve. We are proud to announce that it raised a net profit of $600,000 and we sincerely thank our partners and donors for their support.

Close to 1,000 people attended the event, 400 of whom were teenagers and new comers to Montreal who were invited free of charge. Under the artistic direction of Mr. Philippe Fehmiu, radio presenter at ICI Musique, many talented young artists presented us brilliant performances for our greatest enjoyment.
