L’Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal (ONJ) invites you to an overview of the contribution of jazz to the multiple states of rhythm ‘n’ blues. The orchestra has invited seasoned singer Marie-Christine Depestre to spotlight RnB gems such as “Think,” “Ain’t no mountain high enough,” “I heard it through the grapevine.” Arrangements are signed by the inventive Jean-Nicolas Trottier, who will also conduct the orchestra. This concert brings a fresh sound to well-known tunes.
