From March 2 to 5, between noon and 5 pm, Place des Arts is inviting you to come enjoy a host of free, family-friendly arts and culture activities in a festive winter setting created especially for School Break!
On the program: entertaining puppet-making workshops for younger participants, an introduction to the circus arts to help loosen up your limbs, and circus performances to captivate young and old alike! No reservations required – First come, first served.
You can also see various short films relating to winter in Quebec—from the archives of the National Film Board of Canada—in our exhibition room, featuring a window on the work behind the Montréal d’hier et d’hiver installation by multidisciplinary artist Karine Lanoie-Brien. Outdoors, Montréal en lumière will bring the Quartier des spectacles to life with winter activities and interactive light installations.
School Break week activities at Place des Arts are made possible through the financial support of the Fondation de la Place des Arts.
