The OSM offers a rare opportunity to hear Henri Dutilleux’s virtuosic Cello Concerto, with outstanding French cellist Edgar Moreau as soloist. The Concerto was originally composed for the great Rostropovich in the late 1960s – nearly a century after Tchaikovsky composed the exquisite melodies of his First Symphony, “Winter Daydreams.”
