Double Bill
Let’s open our indoor programming with two exceptional, emerging choreographers from Montreal.
The Man Who Traveled Nowhere in Time - Kyra Jean Green, Montreal, 2016, World premiere
Kyra Jean Green, winner of the Prix de la relève montréalaise at the 2016 Quartiers Danses Festival, trained at the prestigious Julliard School in New York and has danced with companies including Cas Public and 7 doigts de la main. This young choreographer proposes a piece for seven dancers, where a man explores and wanders through time in a perpetually moving and constantly changing world, without himself being affected.

El Vientre del Animal - Andrea Peña, Montreal, 2015, 2016
Following a brief career at Ballet British Colombia and Ballets Jazz de Montréal, Andrea Peña decided to take flight and create her own work. Meanwhile, she is studying design, which influences her choreographic research. In ZERO UNO UNO ZERO, Andrea Peña takes up the challenge of presenting the essence of a 60-minute piece in 30 minutes. This work for seven dancers pulls you into an immersive universe where dancers and spectators dive into one visceral world: joys, absurdities and unconscious operations are explored.
