The Montreal Bach Festival celebrates major composer Johann Sebastian Bach. Every year in November and December, the Festival brings together exceptional artists from Canada and abroad to present dozens of shows, concerts and recitals.
Since its first edition in 2005, the Festival has welcomed artists to take the stage at Place des Arts and elsewhere. These have included internationally renowned artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, as well as local orchestras and soloists such as the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, the Orchestre Métropolitain, Suzie Leblanc, the McGill Chamber Orchestra and the Violons du Roy.
