Piano nobile

Piano nobile

The Piano nobile at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, the large main foyer opening onto two wide staircases, is a central space well suited to holding private receptions, lectures and talks. It was fully renovated in 2016. Among performances held in the space are some of the Sons et brioches youth series.

Overlooked by the work Les Anges radieux by Québec artist Louis Archambault, the Piano nobile gives a spectacular view of the Esplanade thanks to its tall bay windows, as well as one of the work by Claude Bettinger, L’Artiste est celui qui fait voir l’autre côté des choses (An Artist Is One Who Shows the Other Side of Things).

  • Capacity: 500 people standing (cocktail party), 300 people seated (lecture or banquet).
  • Perfect for: private receptions, 5 à 7s, private artist meet-and-greets, autograph signings and photo sessions, lectures, talks and television filming.
  • Features: A kitchen adjacent to the Piano nobile is available for caterers during receptions.

Additional Services

Many services are available for an additional fee in each of the adjacent rental spaces: greeters, security and bar staff; table, chair and red carpet rental; catering service; cleaning and setup services, and more.
