Flutist Nadia Labrie presents her brand new project Flûte passion : Claude Bolling-Suite pour flûte et trio piano jazz. The first composer to cross classical music with jazz, Claude Bolling recorded this work with Jean-Pierre Rampal in 1973, and it immediately met with worldwide success.
Joined by John Roney on piano, Dominic Girard on double bass, and Bernard Riche on drums, Nadia offers you her version of the suite, imbued with finesse and sensitivity.
This concert is a tribute to Claude Bolling, who died on December 29, 2020, in France.
