The Festival of Spain and Latin America and Victor-Concerts are proud to present a wonderful concert-show: TE AMO TANGO under the musical direction of the prestigious bandoneonist Raul Jaurena.
Raul Jaurena, a native of the city of Montevideo, Uruguay, is a virtuose musician of the bandoneon. An accomplished musician and composer. He has performed in Montreal many times between 1988 and 1994: Place des Arts, Théâtre St-Denis, Spectrum.
Maestro Raul Jaurena has had a brilliant musical career in the United States and Europe. He has been invited by prestigious symphony orchestras to play Astor Piazzolla's music as well as his own compositions for string orchestra and bandoneon. He was specially invited to direct the music of this new show by integrating his own compositions.
TE AMO TANGO is Marga Mitchel with the tango-chanson. With a captivating voice Marga Mitchel will seduce the Montreal public by interpreting the most famous themes of the Argentinian tango.
TE AMO TANGO is music. A repertoire that brings together beautiful compositions of the history of the tango as well as works of Astor Piazzolla and Raul Jaurena.
