Talk followed by a workshop-show

Sidi Bémol is a musician, singer, storyteller, illustrator, director and writer. Moving between disciplines, he is in constant artistic discovery, mastering these new roles. Presenting his new production, the Odyssée de Fulay, at the opening of this 19th edition of the FMA, he will be coming back to his personal and artistic journey, on the genesis of his work, his Berber roots and the importance of narration in our societies, interspersed with songs in an intimate acoustic format. This will also be an opportunity to discover the comic strip derived from the show and produced by Sidi Bémol himself.

The audience is invited to take part in the exchanges in this hybrid event crossing between workshop-lecture, master class and show. It fits in with the thematic series of the 19th Festival du Monde Arabe de Montréal: Songs of mutants, on the shores of Gibraltar.
