Discover the Mini Violini: five extraordinary child prodigies! They have been selected from the most talented young violinists in the world to open the Violin 2023 edition of the Concours musical international de Montréal (CMIM).

Mark Chia (Singapore), age 10, Sofia Demetriades (United Kingdom), age 14, Corina Deng (Canada), age 15, Himari (Japan), age 11, and Edna Unseld (Switzerland), age 11, will give a recital with piano and a concerti performance at Bourgie Hall.

The esteemed members of an international panel will offer encouraging comments that will allow them to even further build upon their already exceptional talent.

April 22: the Mini Violini will perform with pianist Carson Becke.

April 23: each violinist will perform a movement from a concerto by Mozart or Vivaldi, with the Orchestre de l’Agora (OA), under the direction of Nicolas Ellis. The concerts will be hosted by Mario Paquet.
