Micro ouvert autochtone

An invitation to celebrate the artistic expression of Indigenous cultures!

In a spirit of sharing, Place des Arts and Inuit throat singer Nina Segalowitz, event curator, are inviting the public to learn more about various Indigenous cultures located in Quebec.

For its second edition, on November 11 and 12, 2023, the Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme will play host to the Micro ouvert autochtone (Indigenous open mic) event. Activities for the whole family; introductory workshops, discussions, and performances will give participants an opportunity to explore dance, music, storytelling, and the languages of various Indigenous communities.
