Artists’ Residencies

Artists’ Residencies provide creative artists with optimal conditions for exploring and experimenting, or for producing a creative work, either in a rehearsal room. In 2022, Place des Arts is innovating by inviting choreographer and documentary filmmaker Rhodnie Désir to be an Associate Artist as part of a pilot project.

Exhibitions / Digital Works

The Place des Arts’ exhibition room showcases artistic projects relating to the performing arts and topics of current interest. Works by media artists are also regularly featured.

A one-of-a-kind mosaic made up of 35 screens, located right by the exhibition room, also displays digital works of art, custom created by artists from here at home and abroad.

We are pleased to be able to provide artists with equipment and presentation platforms that connect with individuals going about their daily lives, as many people per day make their way through our indoor public spaces.

We are also delighted to be able to share our professional experience and offer our support to emerging artists.

The Support for New Works Program is made possible through the financial support of the Fondation de la Place des Arts.
