From July 14 to 29, the Just For Laughs MONTREAL festival gets Montréal guffawing with its many shows and galas, theatre shows, musical comedies and stand-up comics. It’s a gathering not to be missed for comedians and comedy-lovers alike!
Montréal’s Just for Laughs Festival presents hundreds of free outdoor activities alongside 250 shows in 25 downtown venues, including several in the halls of Place des Arts. It has become the world’s biggest comedy festival, attracting nearly two million visitors. With performances in both English and French (under Juste pour rire), it brings together some 1,700 artists from 19 countries. The festival’s goal? To make people happy!

Every summer, the big names in comedy gather in Montréal for shows and special events. Among others, the festival has welcomed Jerry Seinfeld, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Aziz Ansari, Seth Rogen, Chevy Chase and many more.
