With a focus on French-language music, the Francos de Montréal is an annual 10-day celebration of culture that inspires Québec pride in the very heart of the Quartier des Spectacles. From Hip-Hop to Electronica by way of Folk and Pop, the language of Molière is celebrated across genres and styles. Featuring an eclectic range of free mega-shows, the Francos fest sets the tone for a dynamic season of celebrations at Place des Arts.

Thousands of people gather each year to celebrate Francophone culture from all over the world. For 35 years now, the Francos de Montréal has energized the heart of the city in summer, featuring an increasingly broad program showcasing all musical backgrounds. This festival is a source of pride as well as a premier showcase for the French language.
An opportunity for the next generation to interact with accomplished artists, the event showcases a wealth of talents who share the stage in extraordinary themed evenings. Nine days of festivities take place in the various venues around Place des Arts, with a program that takes full advantage of the unique Quartier des Spectacles. This one-of-a-kind celebration of Franco culture is not to be missed!
