Booster seats for children

Elevators
Place des Arts is currently replacing the elevator serving the Maisonneuve and Jean-Duceppe theatres. This modernization is necessary because of the wear and tear of the old system and the desire to meet current standards for universal accessibility. Alternative solutions have been put in place to meet the needs of our clients and to ensure access to these rooms for all during the construction period.
Maisonneuve Theatre: we recommend that people with reduced mobility choose a ticket to the stage and arrive 1 hour before the show. If you are in a wheelchair, spaces are available by calling the ticket office at 514 842-2112.
Jean-Duceppe Theatre: to ensure access for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users, the Place des Arts has equipped itself with a portable elevator brand Stair-Trac. These devices support several types of wheelchairs and allow you to safely climb and descend stairs. Travel with the portable elevator will be covered by trained staff at Place des Arts. If you need this service, we recommend arriving 1 hour before your show. If you do not have a wheelchair, we will provide one for you.
The elevators in the Wilfrid-Pelletier Hall and the Maison symphonique remain in service as usual.
Leisure Companion Card (CAL) and Access2 Card
The distribution of free tickets for accompanying persons holding one of these cards depends on the producer of the show.
To check availability of this offer, please contact the ticket office at 514 842-2112 or info@placedesarts.com.
Access ramps
Our two main entrances have ramps and landings, both outside and inside. Access by 1600, rue Saint-Urbain is recommended for people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.

Please note that the rental is only for your seat; it will not be possible to sit in your seat during the show.
Mobility assistance
During the show hours, a reception service attendant is available to accompany disabled people on their way. To get help, you can request it at the entrance of the theatre.
