A celebration of Francophone culture
Thousands of people gather each year to celebrate Francophone culture from all over the world. For 35 years now, the Francos de Montréal has energized the heart of the city in summer, featuring an increasingly broad program showcasing all musical backgrounds. This festival is a source of pride as well as a premier showcase for the French language.
An opportunity for the next generation to interact with accomplished artists, the event showcases a wealth of talents who share the stage in extraordinary themed evenings. Nine days of festivities take place in the various venues around Place des Arts, with a program that takes full advantage of the unique Quartier des Spectacles. This one-of-a-kind celebration of Franco culture is not to be missed!
