November 16 to December 8, 2024
This annual celebration remains as popular as ever
Founded in 2005 by Alexandra Scheibler, the Bach Festival is the premier North American tribute to this distinguished composer. With over 30 events each year, it features a wide-ranging program that fully showcases the music of Bach. Between concerts and recitals, Bach lovers can also attend open rehearsals, free shows and animated discussions on the composer’s artistic legacy. There’s even a special concert for kids!
Held in several halls and venues in the city of Montréal—including Maison Symphonique—the Festival attracts 20,000 people each year. Performers over the years have included the Orchestre Métropolitain and Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal in addition to many renowned artists from all over the world.
