Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the Zubin Mehta: A Return to the OSM and Wagner concert — scheduled on February 5, 2022 — has been cancelled. Ticket holders will be reimbursed directly.

Appointed Music Director of the OSM at only 24, Zubin Mehta wrote many shining chapters in the history of the Orchestra of which he is a Conductor Emeritus today. The Maestro returns to Montreal for a historic concert, 60 years after conducting the OSM on its first international tour. In homage to his friend Pierre Béique, one the great architects of the OSM’s international fame and a great admirer of Wagner, Mehta conducts excerpts from some of the master of Bayreuth’s finest operas. The concert also features the warm, powerful voice of soprano Christine Goerke.
