Classical tabla virtuoso Zakir Hussain returns to Place des Arts, this time accompanied by flautist Debopriya Chatterjee Ranadive and sarangi player Sabir Khan

His creative solos—bold yet firmly rooted in tradition—have made Zakir Hussain one of the greatest Indian percussionists of our time. Considered to be one of the main artisans of contemporary world music, his influence is undeniable, as his many collaborations with the likes of John McLaughlin, L. Shankar, George Harrison, Yo-Yo Ma, Joe Henderson, and Van Morrison have proven.

Zakir Hussain’s impressive dexterity, masterful improvisational skills, and extensive expertise all add up to a performance that promises to be unforgettable!
