For the closing concert of this anniversary year, you are invited to a historic occasion. Yannick Nézet-Séguin, leading the Orchestre Métropolitain, conducts for the first time his favorite opera, the one closest to his heart and soul. This is the sublimely beautiful Parsifal, the last opus by Richard Wagner. Here is a rare occasion to hear, in concert version, this medieval tale of magic and mystery, the story of a gallant knight and his quest for the Holy Grail.
