Edith Piaf remains to this day the most celebrated and famous French singer of all times. Georgian-born singer/actor Vladimir Kornéev pays tribute to this magnificent artist with his solo show La Vie en Piaf.
New special arrangements of Piaf’s most famous songs (La vie en rose, Mon dieu, Non je ne regrette rien, etc..) were created for this presentation, but Vladimir Kornéev will also bring to the stage less familiar songs that Piaf sang on the Paris streets as a young woman, but never recorded.
The show opened in Berlin in April 2023 to rave reviews and enthusiastic audiences but will have its world premiere in its French version in Montreal. With "an unbelievably nuanced voice over several octaves" (Berliner Morgenpost), Vladimir Kornéev will bring to the stage the universal language of Edith Piaf’s repertoire as well as glimpses of his own artistic path.
