Back at the Amphitheatre for its seventh consecutive visit, Montreal’s Orchestre national de Jazz continues its series of great jazz classics, on this occasion a tribute to William “Count” Basie, a timeless symbol of jazz in the twentieth century. The concert also makes a bow in the direction of the legendary Michel Legrand, who died earlier this year.
