Fate pays a visit to the OSM with works by Verdi and Tchaikovsky. The latter described his poignant Symphony no. 4 as evoking “that fatal force which hangs above your head like the sword of Damocles.” This concert also features the first performance of Canadian composer Tim Brady’s Violin Concerto no. 2, with OSM Concertmaster Andrew Wan as soloist, conducted by Jordan de Souza.
