Laura Cadabon returns with a new program at Place des Arts' Cinquième Salle after an enthusiastic response from Montreal audiences in February 2024.
Laura Cadabon is part of a new generation of musicians in Argentina. Born in Buenos Aires, she studied music at the Gilardo Gilardi Conservatory of Music. Her passion for tango led her to specialize in bandoneon performance. Laura is regularly invited to perform with tango orchestras throughout Argentina and on international tours of the United States and Europe.
For this show, the tango song will be performed by the young Argentinian María Luz Sefaríades, and two Piazzolla compositions will be performed by Irem Bekter. Playing the bandoneon, Laura Cadabon will be accompanied by pianist Olha Kudriakova, double bassist Émilou Johnson and violinist Nadia Monczak. Also featured on the program, a romantic and sensual tango dance will be performed by two pairs of dancers: Elias and Camille; Adrien and Nella.
