Montreal will welcome an illustrious guest! Susan Rogers will share memories and anecdotes of her years of collaborating with Prince. She worked closely with the artist on classics Purple Rain, Sign O 'The Times and 1999. For two decades, even before she began her scientific career, Rogers was one of the few women in the world known for her expertise as a record producer, engineer, mixer and audio-electronics technician. She has a PhD in Psychology from McGill University, where she studied musical cognition and psychoacoustics, and has focused her research on hearing memory, the perception of musical signals, and the influence of musical training on auditory development.
