Due to developments over the past few days and new recommendations from the public health department, we have been forced to cancel the Cumbia dance evening and all other Hors les murs events scheduled for this week. We thank all the artists who led or would have led the various activities.

Participants who had reserved spots for upcoming activities will be contacted by email and will be able to have their deposit refunded.

Join the Ballet Raices de Colombia dancers, for this evening of dance featuring an introductory workshop on cumbia. Then, make your way to the dance floor, where you can move to the sounds of the group Bumaranga and DJ Guasá (Daniel Rodriguez).

The Ballet Raices de Colombia—showcasing one of the world’s richest folklore traditions, a blend of pre-Columbian, Spanish, and African cultures—will be your guide for this workshop that also features musicians. The group Bumaranga offers a fusion of typical Colombian percussion and flutes with a modern touch, while DJ Guasá is dedicated to blending folk and world music with festive electropical sounds.

Two performances will take place during the evening; the first at 7:00 p.m. and the second at 8:45 p.m.
