From March 1st to 4th, 2023, families can make their way to Place des Arts to hear captivating tales, express their creativity, get moving, and have tons of fun!

Place des Arts is your school break destination for an array of exciting free activities: from storytelling to Fabuloscope interactive exhibition… not to mention circus, craft, and culinary workshops!

A perfect way for budding young artists to discover their hidden talents!

Storytelling

Le souhait de Petite souris
Musical tale for 3-to-8-year-olds.

Petite Souris and Petite-Petite Souris, worried about their sick mom, make their way out into the storm, where they’ll meet a little fox, a bear, and a snowy owl. Who can find the right remedy to help their mom get better?

Performers: Jacinthe Lavoie (storyteller), Jean-Luc Lavigne (guitarist and singer), and Sébastien Pellerin (bassist)

Wednesday, March 1st and Thursday, March 2
2 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm (duration: 25 minutes)
In Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme of Place des Arts

Orphée aux doigts de fée
Fairy tale for 6-to-10-year-olds.

Orphée draws exceptionally well—as everyone agrees. He’s so good, some even say he has magic fingers! Sadly, his little sister is sick, and the king is the only one who can save her. Fortunately, the king loves artists who can paint his portrait…

Performer: Mélanie Nadeau

Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4
2 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm (duration: 20 minutes)
In the Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme at Place des Arts
