Requiem de Brahms

To celebrate their 5th anniversary, the Orchestre Philharmonique and the Choeur des Mélomanes presents Brahms’ great German Requiem. This masterpiece will be interpreted by the renowned Metropolitan Opera soprano Aline Kutan, and baritone Christian Wagner accompanied by a full symphony orchestra and 100 singers under the direction of Francis Choinière. Through the Brahm’s “Human Requiem”, the compelling and moving journey of this profound work, the young composer transforms his personal experiences with tragedy and the inescapable fact of loss to the possibility of consolation and serenity.
