The cult classic Québec film Québec-Montréal is coming to the stage! This theatrical production, directed by Pierre-François Legendre and featuring a stellar cast: Charlotte Aubin, Catherine Brunet, Louis Carrière, Patrick Emmanuel Abellard, Pier-Luc Funk, Mickaël Gouin, Simon Pigeon and Antoine Pilon.
The stage production is based on Ricardo Trogi’s 2002 dramedy, which delves into human relationships, things unspoken and things misunderstood through the interwoven stories of seven characters travelling between two emblematic cities.
250 kilometres of asphalt, seven thirty-something travellers, one destination. Along the way, they share their views on relationships and grapple with life’s big questions. Autoroute 20 is the setting for sometimes funny, sometimes complex situations involving three friends debating the concept of ideal love, two coworkers navigating a messy romantic entanglement, and a young couple on the verge of breaking up. There are moments of epiphany and deep reflection about where life has taken them—and where it might lead next.
