Celebrated worldwide for almost three decades, the Quatuor Diotima is famous for illuminating, intelligent and discerning performances. The ensemble makes its Quebec debut this summer in a program pairing the subtle colours of Ravel with Szymanowski’s bold sensuality. The New World is also evoked in the last quartet of Korngold, written at the end of the Second World War in California, during this composer’s exile in America.
