The piano duo formed by Rosemarie Duval-Laplante and Jean-Michel Dubé was created in 2017. Both graduates of the Conservatoire de musique de Québec, they captivate the audience with their charisma and stand out for their musical ideas and intimate sharing of the instrument. Their strong bond, both on stage and in life, is reflected in a sensitive performance and a remarkable sonic unity.
Since its formation, the duo has distinguished itself both in Canada and internationally. For this recital, the piano duo takes us back to the Belle Époque with music by Ravel, Gershwin, and Fauré.
