Le Mignonisme by Philippe Katerine is taking over the Quartier des Spectacles and downtown Montreal area from May 7 to September 29, 2024. Discover a unique art walk featuring fifteen monumental pink sculptures, collectively known as Monsieur Rose ("Mr. Pink")—the emblems of Mignonisme. The vibrant artwork will be on display in downtown Montreal, from the Quartier des Spectacles and Place des Arts to the Esplanade PVM at Place Ville Marie and Phillips Square.
Included in the art walk, a video artwork, created by Montreal artist Jérémy Fassio in collaboration with Philippe Katerine, will be shown at Place des Arts' Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme.
A special presentation and concert titled Ce que je sais de la mort, Ce que je sais de l’amour (“What I know about death, What I know about love”) will also be presented for free on May 7, 2024, in the Cinquième Salle at Place des Arts.
