On September 11 and 12, 2021, Place des Arts and the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Maison symphonique de Montréal with a series of ten free short concerts and four discussions. Discover the exceptional acoustics of the Maison symphonique with musicians from the OSM, who will perform Schubert’s elegant and lively Trout Quintet, named after a lied by the German composer that is featured in this work. During the concert, spectators will also have the chance to hear the octobass—an instrument that’s as rare as it is impressive.
