View the public artwork ORB by Spanish urban artist SpY, a majestic illuminated art installation. Its mirrors will beautify the water basin on the Place des Arts Esplanade for at least the next five years, until 2029. This major project was undertaken by the MURAL organization.
The sculpture's complex surface, consisting of ninety convex discs made of polished steel, reflects the surrounding space, creating a sophisticated kaleidoscopic effect. With his dynamic and minimalist style, SpY invites you to reconsider your perception of space, movement and light. The artwork’s appearance gradually changes throughout the day and night, exhibiting very different qualities depending on the changing light and capturing beautiful sunrises and sunsets in a special way.
