Poetic performances that will immerse you in a captivating evening inspired by the legendary Nuits de la poésie, which left their mark on Québec in 1970, 1980, and 1991.

Poetic performances with music and a choir

Honorary guest Joséphine Bacon, Nicole Brossard, Élise Turcotte, and 27 other poets, will be accompanied by musician Yves Léveillé and his ensemble, as well as a choir of artists from the École supérieure de théâtre de l’UQAM. The evening, which promises to be bright and punchy, will be orchestrated by curator Marc André Brouillette, poet, writer, and UQAM professor.

Poésie en corps

An improvised choreographic marathon presented by the École de danse de l’UQAM, inspired by the 1991 Nuit de la Poésie soundtrack.

Location: Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme

Métallophytes

A multimedia artwork that promises a unique and immersive experience where poetry meets environmental issues. A creation by Marie Di Caro, visual artist, and Audrey Grandchamp, poet.
