Chansons rassembleuses are major gatherings on the topic of creativity between native and non-native peoples, an inclusive occasion to share and celebrate through song.
Mentor artists Florent Vollant, Marc Déry, Réjean Bouchard, and Guillaume Arsenault appear on stage with the singer-songwriters at the heart of the project: Matiu, Karen Pinette-Fontaine, Scott Pien-Picard, Ivan Boivin, Marcie, Cédrik St-Onge, Chloé Lacasse, and Joëlle Saint-Pierre, whose compositions mix and blend together.
This show was created and presented at the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée and at the Festival Innu Nikamu in Maliotenam, thereby giving substance to a shared desire to bring together singer-songwriters and present them to audiences as part of an inter-cultural arts project.
