National Youth Orchestra - 2022 Borealis Tour

This is the long-awaited reunion of NYO Canada, its new Music Director Maestro Sascha Goetzel and the Montreal audience! You could join 82 of today’s brightest young classical musicians take to the stage and perform new works by 2021 SOCAN composer and NYO Canada 2022 violist Leo Purich and a repertoire of beloved classical masterpieces.

For more than 60 years, the National Youth Orchestra of Canada (NYO Canada) has been widely regarded as Canada’s orchestral finishing school, and one of the best training orchestras in North America. Consisting of Canada’s finest pre-professional musicians, NYO’s legacy can be heard through the impact of their alumni, who, comprise 40% of orchestras in Canada today.
