Carte Postale. - Casson & Friends, Tim Casson, London, United Kingdom, 2016, World premiere
Dancer, choreographer and professor living in London, Tim Casson has worked for several renowned choreographers including Jasmin Vardimon, Nigel Charnock and Ben Wright. In 2012, he founded the Casson & Friends company, which seeks to create unique and participatory performances. Post Card is an exchange project between the United Kingdom and Quebec and will be presented in an urban context in different locations around Montreal. Tim Casson and his two Montreal accomplice-dancers offer you the fruit of this creative research: a purely Montreal inspiration, a reflection of its inhabitants and its environment. The audience is invited to express themselves through dance movements and ideas, which will be used by dancers to construct a piece. This interactive, innovative, and fully enthusiastic creation celebrates everyone’s imaginary and makes Montreal shine throughout the world. It will be presented in 2018 at DanceEast and Greenwich Dance in the United Kingdom. Follow the project and participate at cartepostaleonline.com.
