The Four Seasons from Vivaldi to Richter

Cinquième Salle May 4, 2025

The Four Seasons, written in 1725, Vivaldi’s timeless masterpiece, is a must-have in the classical repertoire. From the opening, the choreography will transport you to the beauty and sounds of Vivaldi’s Spring. Inspired by the Four Seasons, composer Max Richter propels us back in time. His modern approach reveals the work from a new angle that allows for a sublime fusion of classical, contemporary and electronic music.

The seasons of Vivaldi and Richter will be performed by the Orchestre de chambre du Grand Montréal and soloist Marc Djokic with the essential collaboration of choreographer Anne Dryburgh and the dancers of the École supérieure du Québec. These woks will transport you to a world rich in color and emotion.
