Experience this voyage through the solar system and the majestic colours of the orchestra in one of the most influential works of the last 100 years, accompanied by scientist Martin Carli from the television show Génial! broadcast on Télé-Québec.

Based on the observations of ancient astronomers and of astrologists from all eras, Holst’s The Planets is an imagining of the seven other planets in our solar system: Mars, the Bringer of War; Venus, the Bringer of Peace; Mercury, the Winged Messenger; Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity; Saturn, the Bringer of Old Age; Uranus, the Magician; and Neptune, the Mystic. Each movement is imbued with a unique ambience and expressiveness that sparks emotions. Holst’s work has influenced the greatest composers of film music, including John Williams (Star WarsHarry Potter and many others).
