Bolstered by huge community success at the Théâtre Paradoxe in February 2023, Ravel’s L’Enfant et les Sortilèges, an opera for the whole family.
Sylvain Scott stage-directs resident artists of the Atelier lyrique who perform with the Orchestre de l’Agora conducted by none other than Nicolas Ellis. This performance will be preceded by the premiere of Le Phare [The Lighthouse] by Laurence Jobidon and Maria Reva. It relates the story of a lonely lighthouse which, after turning off its beam to attract boats to its rocky base, is faced with unforeseen consequences.
