Place des Arts is proud to present a family-friendly interactive program on the Esplanade.
Fête famille on the Esplanade will offer a series of ongoing workshops in an artistic discipline among professional artists, culminating in a group performance.
ON THE PROGRAM
Introductory circus workshops
Come and experience the circus with your children. Presented in collaboration with the National Circus School, these activities will provide an opportunity to experience the circus arts. Pyramid and juggling workshops of all kinds are planned. These activities will be led and supervised by a team of dynamic professional instructors. (11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.)
Creative dance workshop
Come and learn the general concepts of movement and space through Colombian rhythms with Maria Paula Cano from the Ballets Raices de Colombia. Festive workshop guaranteed! (11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.)
Arts & crafts workshops
Handcraft a circus accessory before you head to the dance floor. (11 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
Circus and dance group performance
Enjoy the experience of participating in a group performance led by facilitators. (1:30 - 2 p.m.)
